HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2
    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate Robert J. Thull on 
4
the occasion of his retirement from the Illinois Department of 
5
Corrections after 25 years of distinguished service; and
  
 
6
    WHEREAS, Robert J. Thull began his service with the 
7
Department of Corrections in January of 1985 as a correctional 
8
officer at the Vandalia Correctional Center; he later joined 
9
the staff of the Maintenance Department and was named Chief 
10
Maintenance Officer; and
  
 
11
    WHEREAS, Robert J. Thull has not only served as a dedicated 
12
employee for the Illinois Department of Corrections, but also 
13
as an admired and respected member of his community of Ramsey; 
14
and
  
 
15
    WHEREAS, Robert J. Thull and his wife, Pamela, are the 
16
proud parents of 4 daughters and a son; the couple also has 4 
17
wonderful grandchildren; and

  
 
18
    WHEREAS, Robert J. Thull serves as a model of hard work, 
19
integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of 
20
Illinois; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2
NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
3
congratulate Robert J. Thull on the occasion of his retirement, 
4
thank him for his many years of service and dedication to the 
5
citizens of the State of Illinois, and wish him many happy and 
6
healthy retirement years enjoying his family and rooting for 
7
his beloved Atlanta Braves; and be it further
  
 
8
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9
presented to Robert J. Thull as a symbol of our esteem and 
10
respect.
