| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate Marilyn McGill for |
| 4 |
| her years of service as a Chief County Assessment Officer with |
| 5 |
| the Saline County Courthouse; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Prior to her service with the Saline County |
| 7 |
| Courthouse, Marilyn McGill served as a Deputy Chief County |
| 8 |
| Assessment Officer for 21 1/2 years, beginning in 1980; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, During her years of service for her community, |
| 10 |
| Marilyn McGill was instrumental in obtaining a 1.0 property tax |
| 11 |
| multiplier for Saline County; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, The Saline County Courthouse hosted a ceremony in |
| 13 |
| honor of Marilyn McGill on December 30, 2009; therefore, be it
|
| 14 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 15 |
| NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 16 |
| congratulate Marilyn McGill on the occasion of her years of |
| 17 |
| service with the Saline County Courthouse and wish her |
| 18 |
| continued success and happiness in the future; and be it |
