HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2
    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate Benjamin Knull of 
4
Boy Scout Troop 73 of Grayslake  on the occasion of attaining 
5
the coveted rank of Eagle Scout; and
  
 
6
    WHEREAS, A Court of Honor Ceremony will be held on February 
7
7, 2010 in his honor; and
  
 
8
    WHEREAS, His service project was to plan, coordinate, and 
9
lead the clean-up of Big Hollow School's Nature Center in 
10
Ingleside; the area was once neglected and is now revived and a 
11
useful asset to the community; and
  
 
12
    WHEREAS, Benjamin has been involved in scouting since the 
13
age of 7; he earned the Arrow of Light as a Cub Scout, the 
14
highest award for that age; and
  
 
15
    WHEREAS, Benjamin has been a patrol quartermaster, 
16
assistant patrol leader, patrol leader, and den chief; he is a 
17
member of the Order of the Arrow; and is also active at his 
18
school and church; and
  
 
19
    WHEREAS, Benjamin Knull serves as a model of hard work, 
20
integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of

Illinois; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
3
NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
4
congratulate Benjamin Knull and wish him the best in his future 
5
endeavors; and be it further
  
 
6
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7
presented to Benjamin Knull as a symbol of our respect and 
8
esteem.
