    AMENDMENT NO. ___.  Amend House Resolution 912 on page 2, 
3
line 3, by changing "citizens" to "citizens and businesses"; 
4
and

 
5
on page 2, by replacing lines 7 through 22 and on page 3, lines 
6
1 through 7, with the following:

    "the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic 
8
Opportunity shall develop a Workplace Recycling Toolkit 
9
containing downloadable information and resources for 
10
implementing or expanding business or institutional recycling 
11
programs; and be it further
  
 
12
    RESOLVED, That the Workplace Recycling Toolkit shall 
13
include information to show companies and institutions how to:
14
        (1) identify recycling and waste reduction options 
15
    available;
16
        (2) identify and overcome barriers to implementing

    recycling programs and suggested solutions;
2
        (3) differentiate geographic circumstances that may 
3
    affect ability to collect or market recyclable materials; 
4
        (4) identify additional available education and 
5
    program resources; and

        (5) implement a comprehensive and effective waste 
7
    reduction and recycling program; and be it further
 
8
    RESOLVED, That once completed, there shall be a promotional 
9
campaign to make the public aware of the Toolkit and the useful 
10
information it contains; and be it further
 
11
    RESOLVED, That the Illinois Department of Commerce and 
12
Economic Opportunity shall complete this task on or before 
13
March 1, 2011.".
