| HOUSE RESOLUTION 920

| BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 4 |
| the Board of Higher Education shall study the feasibility of |
| 5 |
| developing a 2-year budgeting cycle for public institutions of |
| 6 |
| higher education so that these institutions may plan for the |
| 7 |
| better utilization of allocated and other funds; and be it |
| 8 |
| further
|
| 9 |
| RESOLVED, That the Board of Higher Education shall make |
| 10 |
| recommendations to the General Assembly on the feasibility of a |
| 11 |
| 2-year budgeting cycle by filing a report as provided in |
| 12 |
| Section 3.1 of the General Assembly Organization Act on or |
| 13 |
| before September 1, 2010; and be it further
|
| 14 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 15 |
| presented to the Board of Higher Education.
