| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate Eugene E. Lowery, |
| 4 |
| Undersheriff of the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, on his |
| 5 |
| retirement; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Undersheriff Lowery has served the people of |
| 7 |
| McHenry County for twenty years and will retire on March 26, |
| 8 |
| 2010; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, He started his career with the McHenry County |
| 10 |
| Sheriff's Office on July 10, 1989; he was assigned to the |
| 11 |
| Detective Division on April 15, 1990; and he was promoted to |
| 12 |
| Sergeant on July 10, 1994; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, On April 27, 1997 he was promoted to Lieutenant; |
| 14 |
| on June 27, 2003 he became Undersheriff and received the rank |
| 15 |
| of Major on May 11, 2006; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 17 |
| NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 18 |
| congratulate Undersheriff Eugene E. Lowery on his retirement |
| 19 |
| and wish him the best in his future endeavors; and be it |
