HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of  
3
Representatives are pleased to honor Natalie Insley and Loretta 
4
Peteck for their exemplary dedication to volunteerism; and
  
 
5
    WHEREAS, Natalie Insley and Loretta Peteck, both residents 
6
of DuPage County, have each contributed more than 30 years of 
7
volunteer service to the DuPage Senior Citizens Council, a 
8
non-profit organization that operates Meals on Wheels and 
9
Community Dining programs for senior citizens; and
  
 
10
    WHEREAS, Natalie Insley and Loretta Peteck have worked 
11
tirelessly for decades in the kitchen of the York Township 
12
Senior Dining Center preparing meals and serving senior 
13
citizens; and
  
 
14
    WHEREAS, Natalie Insley and Loretta Peteck exemplify the 
15
volunteer spirit that is alive and active in DuPage County; and
  
 
16
    WHEREAS, Through their actions, Natalie Insley and Loretta 
17
Peteck demonstrate that there is no age limit on serving others 
18
and dedication to good work; and
 
19
    WHEREAS, The State of Illinois' villages and cities are 
20
strengthened by the senior citizens who provide wisdom,

experience, diversity, and generational links to our 
2
communities; and
  
 
3
    WHEREAS, Natalie Insley and Loretta Peteck represent the 
4
highest level of citizenship, dedication, and commitment; and
  
 
5
    WHEREAS, Natalie Insley and Loretta Peteck serve as 
6
sterling examples of the 2.7 million Illinois volunteers at 
7
various agencies, schools, and organizations who help their 
8
neighbors and communities; therefore, be it
  
 
9
    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
10
NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
11
honor Natalie Insley and Loretta Peteck for their many years of 
12
dedicated service and designate them as extraordinary 
13
volunteers; and be it further
  
 
14
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
15
presented to Natalie Insley and Loretta Peteck as a symbol of 
16
our esteem and respect.
