| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate Sue Hickerson, |
| 4 |
| Director of Medical Services for the Community Nurse Health |
| 5 |
| Association on being awarded the American Red Cross of Greater |
| 6 |
| Chicago 2010 Hero Award in the Nurse category; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, The Community Nurse Health Association provides |
| 8 |
| primary healthcare and supportive services to low income |
| 9 |
| families in the western suburbs of Chicago; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Sue will be honored at the 2010 Heroes Breakfast |
| 11 |
| on April 14, 2010; Sue will receive the Nurse Award for |
| 12 |
| providing health services to more than 1,500 low-income |
| 13 |
| children and families; because of her dedication to at-risk |
| 14 |
| patients, her clinic received the "Excellence in Immunization |
| 15 |
| Efforts Award" for three years in row from the Chicago Area |
| 16 |
| Immunization Campaign; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, She was nominated for her outstanding compassion |
| 18 |
| and care for children and their families in the community; |
| 19 |
