HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Centralia 
4
Junior High School Basketball Team, the Tigers, on winning the 
5
Southern Illinois Junior High School Athletic Association 
6
Class L State Tournament; and
  
 
7
    WHEREAS, The Tigers finished the season with a record of 
8
23-5; and
  
 
9
    WHEREAS, The last time the Tigers won the State 
10
Championship was in 2005; and
  
 
11
    WHEREAS, The Principal of Centralia Junior High School is 
12
Dustin Foutch and the Superintendent is David Rademacher; and
  
 
13
    WHEREAS, The Head Coach of the Tigers is Doug Hargis; the 
14
Assistant Coaches are Mike Middleton, Tron Young, and Reuben 
15
Hill; and
  
 
16
    WHEREAS, The members of the Tigers are: Chase Alcorn, C.J. 
17
Berry, DeOntre Cunningham, Shea Firebaugh, Keyante 
18
Haywood-Lockhart, Tripp Kessler, Marcellus Lewis, Jeff Rogers, 
19
Deon Jones, Jerod Simmons-Young, Jake Wood, and Josh Nunnery;

    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

congratulate the Centralia Junior High School Basketball Team 
4
on their tournament win and wish them continued success in the 
5
future; and be it further

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7
presented to the Centralia Junior High School Basketball Team 
8
as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
