| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |

| Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Sesser-Valier |

| High School Boys Basketball team, the Red Devils, on its second |
| 5 |
| place finish in the Class 1A State Championship Tournament on |
| 6 |
| March 13, 2010; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, The Red Devils defeated Madison 58-40 to secure |
| 8 |
| their berth in the championship game on March 13, 2010; the Red |
| 9 |
| Devils were led by high scorer Justin Matyi in that game and by |
| 10 |
| Kendall Gibson in the Championship game against Salt Fork, |
| 11 |
| which Salt Fork won 54-42; and

| 12 |
| WHEREAS, The Coach of the Red Devils is Chip Basso; the |
| 13 |
| Assistant Coaches are Shane Garner, Nick Laur, and Brian Laur; |

| and

| WHEREAS, The Red Devils are: Dane Eubanks, Tim Witcher, |
