HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Peoria Manual 
4
High School Rams boys basketball team on the occasion of the 
5
team's 2nd place finish in the IHSA Class 2A State tournament; 
6
and
  
 
7
    WHEREAS, The Peoria Manual High School Rams ended their 
8
season with a 2nd place finish in the Class 2A tournament on 
9
March 13, 2010 after a narrow loss to Robinson; and
  
 
10
    WHEREAS, The Peoria Manual High School Rams ended the 
11
season with an admirable 24-8 record; and
  
 
12
    WHEREAS, The members of the Peoria Manual High School Rams 
13
boys basketball team are Landis Farmer, Isaiah Duncan, Lawrence 
14
Alexander, Marvin Jordan, Dontorrion Stuckey, Jeff Stokes, 
15
Keenan Hobson, AJ Riley, Andrew Jordan, Brandon Watson, Jacoby 
16
Roddy, and Demarco Tillman; the team's head coach is Derrick 
17
Booth and the assistant coaches are Fred Lee, Ron Ingram, David 
18
Williams, and Willie Coleman; and

    WHEREAS, The members of the Peoria Manual High School Rams 
20
boys basketball team serve as models of hard work, integrity, 
21
and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois;

    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

congratulate the Peoria Manual High School Rams boys basketball 
5
team on the occasion of the team's 2nd place finish in the IHSA 
6
Class 2A State tournament and wish them continued success and 
7
happiness in the future; and be it further

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9
presented to Peoria Manual High School Rams head coach  Derrick 
10
Booth as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
