| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |

| Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Arthur L. |

| Hagman of Wildwood, who passed away on April 4, 2010; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Arthur L. Hagman was born October 6, 1926, in |
| 6 |
| Minneapolis, Minnesota; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in |
| 8 |
| Waukegan; he was a World War II veteran, serving in the United |
| 9 |
| States Navy; and he was a member and past president of the Lake |
| 10 |
| Villa V.F.W. #4308, Cooties #67, and the USS Carter Hall |
| 11 |
| Association; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and |
| 13 |
| Cora Hagman; his sister-in-law, Lorraine Hagman; his |
| 14 |
| brother-in-law, James W. Craze; and his godson, Michael J. |
| 15 |
| Gibour; and |
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, He was the beloved husband for 51 years of Mary |
| 17 |
| M.; the loving father of Alice (Bill) Spangler and Bill |
| 18 |
| (Cheryl) Hagman; the dear grandfather of Nathan and Nicholas |
| 19 |
| Chott, Anna, and Danielle and Cara Hagman; and the dear brother |
| 20 |
| of Harold Hagman and John (Joanne) Hagman; he is also survived |
| 21 |
| by several nieces, nephews, and godchildren; and a host of |
