HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2
    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate Del Pechauer on his 
4
retirement, as head football coach and as a teacher, from 
5
Community High School District 117 in Antioch; and
  
 
6
    WHEREAS, His former students and colleagues describe him as 
7
an inspiring teacher and coach; and
  
 
8
    WHEREAS, For over 20 years he has been involved in the 
9
Sequoit football program; he served 19 years as the head 
10
football coach and has served in many other capacities as well; 
11
he also has been an influential coach in the track and field 
12
program; and
  
 
13
    WHEREAS, He has been a major part of the Physical Education 
14
department; he has taught physical education, driver's 
15
education, and Physical Best for 33 years; he built the weight 
16
deck and the Physical Best program to the outstanding programs 
17
they are today; and
  
 
18
    WHEREAS, In addition, he added the "Bigger, Faster, 
19
Stronger" program to the student athletes and it is currently 
20
used in the lifting program; and

    WHEREAS, Del Pechauer has been a vital part of Community 
2
High School District 117 for many years and will be dearly 
3
missed; therefore, be it
  
 
4
    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
5
NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
6
congratulate Del Pechauer on his retirement, thank him for his 
7
service, and wish him the best in his future endeavors; and be 
8
it further

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10
presented to Del Pechauer as a symbol of our respect and 
11
esteem.
