| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 4 |
| urge the State Comptroller, in conjunction with the Department |
| 5 |
| of Central Management Services, to submit a report to the |
| 6 |
| General Assembly no later than December 31, 2010; and be it |
| 7 |
| further
|
| 8 |
| RESOLVED, That the report shall include the following |
| 9 |
| information, which shall be broken down by State agency and |
| 10 |
| vendor: |
| 11 |
| (1) the number and total dollar amount of interest |
| 12 |
| penalty payment vouchers submitted to the Comptroller's |
| 13 |
| office on or after August 18, 2009 and before December 1, |
| 14 |
| 2010 for interest payments of less than $5; |
| 15 |
| (2) the number and total dollar amount of interest |
| 16 |
| penalty payment vouchers submitted to the Comptroller's |
| 17 |
| office on or after August 18, 2009 and before December 1, |
| 18 |
| 2010 for interest payments of at least $5 but less than |
| 19 |
| $50; the report shall indicate the number and total dollar |
| 20 |
| amount of (i) those paid automatically and (ii) those |
| 21 |
| initiated by written request of the vendor; |
| 22 |
| (3) the aggregate cost of processing the interest |
| 23 |
| penalty payment vouchers referenced in items (1) and (2); |
| 24 |
