| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |

| Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Mark |
4 |
| "Flipper" Hannon of Clinton, who passed away on April 16, 2010; |
5 |
| and
|
6 |
| WHEREAS, He was born June 24, 1952 in Monticello, the son |
7 |
| of Paul M. and Carolyn J. (Ford) Hannon; and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, He joined Laborers Local #703 in September of 1976 |
9 |
| at the age of 24; he worked as an All-Craft Steward for twenty |
10 |
| years at the Clinton Nuclear Power Plant in Clinton; he was the |
11 |
| Business Manager of the Laborers' International Union of North |
12 |
| America, Local #703, an Executive Board Member of the Southern & |
13 |
| Central Illinois Laborers' District Council, and a Trustee of |
14 |
| the Central Laborers' Welfare Fund, Central Laborers' Pension |
15 |
| Fund, Illinois Laborers' & Contractors Joint Apprenticeship & |
16 |
| Training Program and the Laborers' local #703 Legal Service |
17 |
| Fund; and
|
18 |
| WHEREAS, He was also a member of the Sons of the Legion in |
19 |
| Farmer City and was a Past President of the Eagles Aerie Lodge |
20 |
| #593 in Clinton; and
|
21 |
| WHEREAS, Mark Hannon is survived by his son, John Hannon |
