| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate Suzanne McDowell |
| 4 |
| on the occasion of her retirement after 37 years as a teacher; |
| 5 |
| and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Suzanne McDowell began her teaching career in |
| 7 |
| Virginia; in 1993, she continued teaching marketing, business, |
| 8 |
| and cooperative education courses in Illinois; she has taught |
| 9 |
| at the Bloomington Area Career Center and Bloomington High |
| 10 |
| School for the last 17 years; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, During her extensive career, Suzanne McDowell has |
| 12 |
| written grants, advocated for students, and traveled many extra |
| 13 |
| miles for her students; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Suzanne McDowell was the recipient of the Central |
| 15 |
| Illinois Golden Apple Award in 2008; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, Suzanne McDowell will be remembered fondly by her |
| 17 |
| many students for the profound influence she has had on their |
| 18 |
| lives; therefore, be it
