| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |

| Representatives are pleased to congratulate Ana Lee Pokrzywa on |
| 4 |
| the occasion of being honored as a finalist at the 18th Annual |
| 5 |
| Citywide 7th Awards Ceremony by the City of Chicago Commission |
| 6 |
| on Human Relations; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, The City of Chicago Commission on Human Relations' |
| 8 |
| 7th Grade Essay Contest invites 7th grade students throughout |
| 9 |
| the Chicago area to write an essay on how to improve human |
| 10 |
| relations throughout their schools, their communities, and the |
| 11 |
| city itself; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Ana Lee Pokrzywa was selected to be one of 20 |
| 13 |
| finalists from over 3,500 essays submitted to the Commission on |
| 14 |
| Human Relations; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Ana Lee Pokrzywa will receive over $8,000 in |
| 16 |
| awards and prizes for being a finalist in the contest; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, Ana Lee Pokrzywa serves as a model of hard work, |
| 18 |
| integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of |
| 19 |
| Illinois; therefore, be it
