HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Daniel Krissek of 
4Boy Scout Troop 60 of Libertyville on the occasion of achieving 
5the coveted rank of Eagle Scout; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Daniel Krissek has been a member of Boy Scout 
7Troop 60 in Libertyville since 2003; he has been in Scouting 
8since he became a Cub Scout at the age of 7; he earned all Cub 
9Scout ranks, including the Arrow of Light, the highest rank in 
10Cub Scouts, and both Cub Scout Catholic religious awards, 
11Parvuli Dei and Ad Altare Dei; in total, he earned a total of 
1223 merit badges; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, During his time with the Boy Scouts, Daniel 
14Krissek has held the troop leadership positions of Librarian, 
15Historian, Chaplain Aide, and Order of the Arrow 
16Representative; he attended the 2005 National Jamboree and 
17several sessions of summer camp at Camp Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan; he 
18actively participated in his troop's program of monthly weekend 
19campouts; he is also a member of the Order of the Arrow, the 
20National Honor Society of the Boy Scouts; and
  
 
21    WHEREAS, Daniel Krissek graduated from Woodland School in 
222006 and from Warren Township High School in 2010; he is

1currently attending the College of Lake County; and
  
 
2    WHEREAS, To earn the rank of Eagle Scout, Daniel Krissek 
3led the collection, organization (by reading level), and 
4delivery of almost 3,000 usable books for the Lake County 
5Courthouse's "Kids' Korner", a safe place for children 2 to 12 
6years of age to wait while their parents are in court; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Daniel Krissek serves as a model of hard work, 
8integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of 
9Illinois; therefore, be it
  
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
11NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
12congratulate Daniel Krissek on the occasion of achieving the 
13coveted rank of Eagle Scout and wish him continued success and 
14happiness in the future; and be it further
  
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
16presented to Daniel Krissek as a symbol of our esteem and 
17respect.
