Feliza |
| 4 | | Arthella McElmurry, who passed away on August 27, 2010; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Feliza McElmurry was born on January 4, 1974, in |
| 6 | | Peoria; her parents were Nina Gaynelle Rice and Earl Edward |
| 7 | | Jackson, Sr.; she married Sherman McElmurry on March 31, 2001; |
| 8 | | and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Feliza McElmurry graduated from Manual High |
| 10 | | School in 1992; she then pursued her education at Illinois |
| 11 | | Central College; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Feliza McElmurry was employed in the health care |
| 13 | | industry at OSF St. Francis Medical Center and Heartcare |
| 14 | | Midwest for many years; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Feliza McElmurry was preceded in death by her |
| 16 | | great grandparents, Levy (Tinnie) Dixon, and her uncle, Officer |
| 17 | | Michael A. Perkins; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Feliza McElmurry is survived by her devoted and |
| 19 | | loving daughters, Kadeja Shalom McElmurry and Alexis Symone |
| 20 | | McElmurry; her loving parents; her loving maternal |

| 1 | | grandparents, Howard and Aurthur Mae Perkins; her loving |
| 2 | | paternal grandparents, George (Daisy) Johnson; her loving |

| 4 | | and April Jackson; her loving uncles, Darnell "Quazi" Hannah, |
| 5 | | Howard Wesley Perkins, Tony Lloyd Anthony Perkins, and Lawrence |
| 6 | | Quinton Perkins; her loving great-uncles, Rev. Dr. Herschel |
| 7 | | (Yvette) Hannah and Tim (Carolyn) Rice; and her many nieces, |
| 8 | | nephews, other relatives, and friends; and

| 9 | | WHEREAS, Feliza McElmurry will be remembered by all who |
| 10 | | knew and loved her for her warm and genuine smile, her |
| 11 | | professionalism, and the personal care she gave to patients; |

| 13 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 14 | | NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 15 | | mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Feliza |
| 16 | | Arthella McElmurry; and be it further

| 17 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 18 | | presented to the family of Feliza McElmurry as an expression of |
| 19 | | our sympathy.
