HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Daniel James 
4Albright on the occasion of attaining the coveted rank of Eagle 
5Scout; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Daniel Albright graduated from Carmel Catholic 
7High School in Mundelein in May of 2010; he is a member of the 
8Thespian Honor Society, the National Honor Society, and the 
9Drama Club; he also served as the Construction Chief and 
10Assistant Stage Manager for the drama department and as Sound 
11Chief for Carmel's school events; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Daniel Albright plans to attend the College 
13Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, where he 
14will major in Theatrical Design and Production with a focus in 
15Technical Direction; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Daniel Albright has been involved in scouting 
17since becoming a Tiger Cub and has continued to be involved 
18until the present day; he received the Arrow of Light award as 
19a Webelos Scout and is a Brotherhood member of the Order of the 
20Arrow; he has been to all 3 high adventure locations, which 
21earned him the Triple Crown Award, and was a trek leader at 
22Philmont and Boundary Waters; he also served on Camp Staff at

1Boy Scout Camp MaKaJaWan for 2 summers; he has earned a total 
2of 26 merit badges throughout his Scouting career; and
  
 
3    WHEREAS, To achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, Daniel 
4Albright led a group of Boy Scouts in the design and 
5installation of a dog agility course for the Save-a-Pet animal 
6shelter; the agility course includes a teeter-totter, an 
7A-frame, a large ramp system, and a pole-weave for the 
8Save-a-Pet dogs to use; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Daniel Albright has served in many positions of 
10responsibility within the Boy Scouts, including patrol leader, 
11assistant patrol leader, and quartermaster, where he has served 
12for roughly 5 years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Daniel Albright was recognized at a Court of Honor 
14on August 10, 2010 for his work in Scouting and his 
15contributions to his community; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Daniel Albright's family, friends, and fellow 
17Scouts, along with the members of this body, are proud of his 
18hard work and dedication in gaining this prestigious rank; 
19therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
21NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

1congratulate Daniel James Albright on the occasion of attaining 
2the coveted rank of Eagle Scout and wish him continued success 
3and happiness in the future; and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to Daniel Albright as a symbol of our esteem and 
6respect.
