HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the owners and 
4employees of the Chesterfield Tom Thumb Day Care Center in 
5Chicago on the occasion of the organization's 40th anniversary; 
6and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, The Chesterfield Tom Thumb Day Care Center is a 
8private, early childhood program/day care center school 
9located in Chicago that serves 53 pre-kindergarten and 
10kindergarten students; in 2008, Chesterfield Tom Thumb Day Care 
11Center had 15 students for every full-time equivalent teacher; 
12and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, The owners and employees of the Chesterfield Tom 
14Thumb Day Care Center will celebrate the 40th anniversary of 
15the center with a celebration at the center's Little Black 
16Pearl Workshop on October 9, 2010; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, The staff of the Chesterfield Tom Thumb Day Care 
18Center serves as a model of hard work, integrity, and 
19dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, 
20be it
  
 
21    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

1NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
2congratulate the owners and employees of the Chesterfield Tom 
3Thumb Day Care Center in Chicago on the occasion of the 
4organization's 40th anniversary and wish them continued 
5success and happiness in the future; and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the Chesterfield Tom Thumb Day Care Center as a 
8symbol of our esteem and respect.
