| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Greenville |
| 4 | | Junior High School Bluejays baseball team on finishing second |
| 5 | | in the State championship; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, The team finished second in the State with a 19-11 |
| 7 | | ninth inning loss to Shorewood Troy, in the championship game |
| 8 | | held October 2, 2010, in East Peoria; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, The game lasted nearly four hours and was the |
| 10 | | second game of the day for both teams; the Bluejays fought |
| 11 | | their way back from an earlier deficit, but a huge eight-run |
| 12 | | scoring streak in the top of the ninth inning for Shorewood |
| 13 | | Troy was the difference; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, At the Bond County courthouse square on Sunday, |
| 15 | | October 3, 2010, fans gathered to welcome and congratulate the |
| 16 | | Bluejays on their great win and placing second at State; the |
| 17 | | parade then went on to the Greenville Junior High School; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, The Greenville Junior High gymnasium was crowded |
| 19 | | with well-wishers and fans;
Principal Gary Brauns led the |
| 20 | | ceremony with touching and tearful high points; and
|

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Bluejays Coach Stoecklin praised the boys and his |
| 2 | | volunteer coaching staff for an unforgettable season; and

| 3 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Greenville Bluejays are: |
| 4 | | Jeremiah Brannon, Tim Chilovich, Kyle Dugan, Craig Faulkner, |
| 5 | | Brady Fletcher, Jacob Hall, Cable Hogue, Dillon Hallemann, |
| 6 | | Tyler Hutchison, Matthew James, Dylan Knebel, Chantz Kunkel, |
| 7 | | Grant Mitchell, Kaeden Mollett, Josh Pierce, Colton Rainey, |
| 8 | | Brad Riedemann, Kohldin Sadowski, Will Schaufelberger, Alex |

| 15 | | incredible season and for placing second in the State; and be |
