HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Ronald Starman, 
4Jeff Johnson, and Merlyn Winchell for being the recipients of 
5the Lifesaver Award from the Missouri Department of 
6Corrections; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, The Lifesaver Award is given by the Missouri 
8Department of Corrections to staff members that intervene in 
9serious situations in order to save a person's life; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Ronald Starman, Jeff Johnson, and Merlyn Winchell 
11were designated to receive this prestigious award for their 
12diligence and superb conduct in responding to life-threatening 
13situations involving offenders at the Northeast Correctional 
14Center in Bowling Green, Missouri; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Ronald Starman, Jeff Johnson, and Merlyn Winchell 
16serve as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the 
17people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
19NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
20congratulate Ronald Starman, Jeff Johnson, and Merlyn Winchell 
21for receiving this prestigious award and wish them continued
