HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Lisle High 
4School Boys Soccer Team, the Lions, on winning their first 
5regional, sectional, and State titles; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, The Lions defeated Peoria Christian with a score 
7of 1-0 to win the Class 1A State championship on October 30, 
82010; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, The Lions won their first boys State title in any 
10sport; and
 
11    WHEREAS, The Lions are led by Head Coach Paul Kohorn, who 
12has coached the team since 2003; he is aided by Assistant Coach 
13Kevin Perez; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, The championship match was the 100th victory for 
15the Lions and Coach Kohorn, who announced that he was retiring 
16as coach after this year; and

  
 
17    WHEREAS, The members of the team are: Brian Fielder, Kazim 
18Khan, Ben Buchelt, Jake Krpan, Eric Osika, Kyle Hendzel, Brad 
19Blechschmidt, Ryan Kilroy, Josh Soukup, Pat Webb, Matt Gill, 
20Grant Fitzgerald, Brett Ponczek, Jacob Soukup, Mitch Boyce,

1Franceso La Rosa, Ian Parks, Ak Kamara, Billy Dicky, Taylor 
2Morten, Klaudijus Zemartis, George Ancede, Max Tarasewicz, 
3Elijah Bester, Jimmy Gill, and Karl Burba; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
5NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
6congratulate the Lisle Lions on a tremendously successful 
7season and on their State title; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to Coach Paul Kohorn and the Lisle Lions Soccer Team 
10as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
