| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Marcus Jones for |
| 4 | | his 4th place finish in the 400-meter dash event at the 2009 |
| 5 | | Illinois High School Association State Track & Field Meet; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Marcus Jones is a senior at Oswego East High |
| 7 | | School; he currently holds the record at his school for the |
| 8 | | 400-meter dash; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Marcus Jones is a 3-year varsity letter winner in |
| 10 | | track and a varsity letter winner in 3 sports; he was |
| 11 | | designated All-conference in track in 2009 and has been |
| 12 | | designated All-State; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Marcus Jones serves as a model of hard work, |
| 14 | | integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of |
| 15 | | Illinois; therefore, be it

| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 17 | | NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
