HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to  learn of the death of
David M. 
4Coffee of Streamwood, who passed away on January 2, 2011; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, David Coffee was born on December 27, 1949, in 
6Aurora; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, David Coffee served his country with pride and 
8distinction as a member of the United States Marine Corps 
9during the Vietnam War; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, David Coffee was employed with the Streamwood 
11Police Department for 27 years; and

  
 
12    WHEREAS, David Coffee was the beloved husband for 35 years 
13of Kathy, nee Bosshart; the loving father of Heather Coffee; 
14the stepfather of Rick Soto and the late Heide Soto; the 
15cherished grandfather of Rachel Soto and April and Collin 
16Coffee; the caring son of the late Edward and Patricia nee 
17Weber; the stepson of Carol Coffee; the dear brother of Marla 
18McDevitt and Patricia Plotcher; and the step-brother of the 
19late Ron and Tom Plotcher; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

1NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
2mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of David 
3M. Coffee; and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the family of David Coffee as an expression of our 
6sympathy.
