AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 62

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 62 by replacing 
3
lines 20 through 26 on page 4 and line 1 on page 5 with the 
4
following:

    "(c-8) It is unlawful for a child sex offender to knowingly 
6
operate, whether authorized to do so or not, any of the 
7
following vehicles: (1) a vehicle which is specifically 
8
designed, constructed or modified and equipped to be used for 
9
the retail sale of food or beverages, including but not limited 
10
to an ice cream truck; (2) an authorized emergency vehicle; or 
11
(3) a rescue vehicle."; and
 
12
by replacing lines 17 and 18 on page 11 with the following:

        "(14) "Authorized emergency vehicle", "rescue 
14
    vehicle", and "vehicle" have the meanings ascribed to them 
15
    in Sections 1-105, 1-171.8 and 1-217, respectively, of the 
16
    Illinois Vehicle Code."; and
