| AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 178

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 178 as follows:

| on page 12, by replacing lines 7 through 9 with "health care |
| 4 |
| provider's office in the State. One or more of the signs |
| 5 |
| created and distributed by the Agency under this Section must |
| 6 |
| be posted in each health care provider's office. For the |
| 7 |
| purposes of this subsection (z), "health care provider's |
| 8 |
| office" means any facility where preventive, diagnostic, or |
| 9 |
| therapeutic care is provided or where pharmaceuticals are |
| 10 |
| dispensed, including pharmacies, doctor's offices, health |
| 11 |
| clinics, urgent care centers, and surgical centers, but not |
| 12 |
| including hospitals."; and
|
| 13 |
| by deleting everything after line 10 on page 12 and all of |
| 14 |
| pages 13 and 14.
