| AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 318

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 318 by replacing |

| everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| "Section 5. The Medical Practice Act of 1987 is amended by |

| adding Section 54.8 as follows:

| (225 ILCS 60/54.8 new) |
| 7 |
| Sec. 54.8. Chiropractic physician delegation. Nothing in |
| 8 |
| this Act shall be construed to limit the delegation of a task |
| 9 |
| or duty within the scope of practice of a chiropractic |
| 10 |
| physician to an appropriately trained unlicensed person or a |
| 11 |
| licensed person, provided the chiropractic physician provides |
| 12 |
| onsite supervision of the services.

| 13 |
| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 14 |
| becoming law.".
