AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 737

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 737, AS AMENDED, with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 2, as follows:

on page 21, line 2, by replacing "(g)" with "(h)"; and

on page 251, immediately below line 19, by inserting the following:

"(9) Evidence the applicant used its best efforts to reach a goal of 25% ownership representation by minority persons and 5% ownership representation by females."; and

on page 263, by replacing lines 5 through 11 with the following: "to exceed $53,000,000 and (ii) a credit for $147,000,000 for the payments that the unit of local government has pledged to remit to the State. The Board shall review any such pledge to remit payments to the State and consider a revision to that pledge if the owners licensee subject to this subsection (e-16) has experienced a significant increase in competition; however, any such revision shall not impact the amount of the credit the owners licensee shall receive for payments pledged by the unit of local government to the State in this subsection (e-16). An owners licensee subject to this"; and

on page 299, by replacing line 26 with "$0.125 to the Village of Stickney, $0.125 to the City of Berwyn, $0.50 to the Town of Cicero,"; and

on page 300, line 22, after the period, by inserting "Payments received by the City of Des Plaines pursuant to this paragraph may not be shared with any other unit of local government."; and

on page 314, by replacing line 8 with "General Assembly, as follows: 12.5% to the Village of Stickney, 12.5% to the City of Berwyn,"; and

on page 314, line 20, after the period, by inserting "Payments received by the City of Des Plaines pursuant to this paragraph may not be shared with any other unit of local government.".
