AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 744

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 744, AS AMENDED, in 
3
Section 90-25, Sec. 26, subsection (g), item (13), the sentence 
4
beginning "For the calendar year", by replacing "all 
5
organization licensees" with "all wagering facilities"; and
 
6
in Section 90-25, Sec. 26, subsection (g), item (13), the 
7
sentence beginning "For the calendar year", by replacing 
8
"wagering facility" with "electronic gaming facility"; and
 
9
in Section 90-25, Sec. 26, subsection (g), item (13), the 
10
sentence beginning "For the calendar year", by replacing "its 
11
electronic gaming license" with "an electronic gaming 
12
license"; and
 
13
in Section 90-25, Sec. 26, subsection (g), item (13), the 
14
sentence beginning "No organization licensees", by replacing 
15
"No organization licensees" with "No wagering facilities"; and

in Section 90-30, Sec. 5, subsection (b), item (12), by

replacing "Revenue; and" with "Revenue;"; and

in Section 90-30, Sec. 5, subsection (b), item (13), by

replacing "1975." with "1975; and"; and

in Section 90-30, Sec. 5, subsection (b), by replacing the 
6
paragraph beginning "Any action by the Board" and the paragraph 
7
beginning "Internal controls and changes" with the following:

        "(14) Any action by the Board or staff of the Board, 
9
    including, but not limited to, denying a renewal, approving 
10
    procedures (including internal controls), levying a fine 
11
    or penalty, promotions, or other activities by an applicant 
12
    for licensure or a licensee, may at the discretion of the 
13
    applicant or licensee be appealed to an administrative law 
14
    judge in accordance with subsection (b) of Section 17.1.
15
        Internal controls and changes submitted by licensees 
16
    must be reviewed and either approved or denied with cause 
17
    within 60 days after receipt by the Illinois Gaming Board. 
18
    In the event an internal control submission or change does 
19
    not meet the standards set by the Board, staff of the Board 
20
    must provide technical assistance to the licensee to 
21
    rectify such deficiencies within 60 days after the initial 
22
    submission and the revised submission must be reviewed and 
23
    approved or denied with cause within 60 days. For the

    purposes of this paragraph, "with cause" means that the 
2
    approval of the submission would jeopardize the integrity 
3
    of gaming. In the event the Board staff has not acted 
4
    within the timeframe, the submission shall be deemed 
5
    approved.".
