AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 748

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 748 on page 14,

line 8, after "school", by inserting "and a church"; and

on page 14, by replacing lines 15 and 16 with the following:

        "(4) the building has no less than 78 condominium 
6
    units;"; and
 
7
on page 14, line 18, by deleting "and"; and
 
8
on page 14, line 20, by replacing "." with ";"; and
 
9
on page 14, immediately below line 20, by inserting the 
10
following:

        "(7) the restaurant will open for business in 2010;
12
        (8) the building is north of the school and separated 
13
    by an alley; and
14
        (9) the principal religious leader of the church and

    either the alderman of the ward in which the school is

    located or the principal of the school have delivered a 
3
    written statement to the local liquor control commissioner 
4
    stating that he or she does not object to the issuance of a

    license under this subsection (t).".
