| AN ACT concerning veterans.
|
| 2 |
| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Veterans Burial Places Act is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 3 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (330 ILCS 110/3) (from Ch. 21, par. 59c)

| Sec. 3.
For the
the purpose of locating the burial places |
| 8 |
| of United
States War Veterans, the different Veteran |
| 9 |
| organizations, their
auxiliaries and affiliated organizations |
| 10 |
| in the State of Illinois are
authorized, without expense to the |
| 11 |
| State, to collect the required data
and prepare and file with |
| 12 |
| the Department of Veterans' Affairs the
information provided |
| 13 |
| for in section 1 hereof. For filing and recording
this report, |
| 14 |
| the Illinois Veterans' Commission may charge a fee of 25
cents |
| 15 |
| for a single report and not to exceed 50 cents per folio for
|
| 16 |
| reports containing more than one name and more than one folio. |
| 17 |
| A representative
of the Department of Veterans' Affairs may |
| 18 |
| visit cemeteries
of the State or resort to any other reliable |
| 19 |
| means to locate the burial
places of United States War |
| 20 |
| Veterans. |
