AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1050

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1050 on page 11, by

replacing lines 2 through 4 with the following:

"Class X felony, aggravated driving under the influence of 
5
alcohol, other drug or drugs, or intoxicating compound or 
6
compounds, or any combination thereof, aggravated domestic 
7
battery, or a forcible felony,"; and
 
8
on page 12, line 12, by replacing ", in its discretion," with 
9
", in its discretion,"; and
 
10
on page 12, line 23, by inserting ", based on clear and 
11
convincing evidence," after "satisfied"; and
 
12
on page 15, line 10, by inserting "by clear and convincing 
13
evidence" after "demonstrated".
