AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1055

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1055 by replacing

everything after the enacting clause with the following:

    "Section 5. The Eminent Domain Act is amended by adding 
5
Section 25-5-30 as follows:

    (735 ILCS 30/25-5-30 new)
7
    Sec. 25-5-30. Quick-take; Village of Bridgeview. 
8
Quick-take proceedings under Article 20 may be used for a 
9
period of 36 months after the effective date of this amendatory 
10
Act of the  96th General Assembly by the Village of Bridgeview 
11
for the 71st Street Railroad Grade Separation Project and other 
12
incidental work within the Village of Bridgeview, Illinois, for 
13
the acquisition of portions of property, temporary 
14
construction easements, and rights of way necessary to complete 
15
the subject project involving property bounded by 71st Street 
16
from Roberts Road on the west to Harlem Avenue on the east, and
