| AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1089

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1089, on page 1, |

| below line 15, by inserting the following: |

| "Certificate of compliance" is a document generated by the |
| 5 |
| database which evidences that, as to a particular mortgage |
| 6 |
| loan, all data entry and counseling requirements of the Act |
| 7 |
| have been fulfilled and thereby allows that mortgage to be |
| 8 |
| recorded. |
| 9 |
| "Certificate of exemption" is a document generated by the |
| 10 |
| database which evidences that a particular mortgage loan is |
| 11 |
| exempt from the data entry and counseling requirements of the |
| 12 |
| Act and thereby allows that mortgage to be recorded.; and
|
| 13 |
| on page 8, lines 5 and 6, by replacing "the appropriate |
| 14 |
| certificate" with the following: "a certificate of exemption, |
| 15 |
| if the requirements for an exemption are met,".
