AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1251
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1251, by deleting everything after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof with the following:
“ARTICLE 1
Section 5. “AN ACT concerning appropriations”, Public Act 96-042, approved July 15, 2009, as amended by Public Act 96-819, approved November 18, 2009, is amended by changing Sections 5, 10, 15, and 25 to Article 76 as follows:

Sec. 5. The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency to meet its ordinary and contingent expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010:

Sec. 15. The amount of $1,795,100
$1,994,500, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from
the General Revenue Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency to meet its
operational expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.

Sec. 25. In addition to
other amounts appropriated, the amount of $370,600 $411,800, or
so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency for operational expenses, awards,
grants, and permanent improvements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.
Section 10. “AN ACT concerning appropriations”, Public Act 96-046, approved July 15, 2009, as amended by Public Act 96-819, approved November 18, 2009, is amended by changing Sections 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 to Article 21a as follows:

Sec. 15. The sum of $135,000 $150,000,
or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois
Historic Sites Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency for awards and grants
for historic preservation programs made either independently or in cooperation
with the Federal Government or any agency thereof, any municipal corporation,
or political subdivision of the State, or with any public or private
corporation, organization, or individual.

Sec. 20. The sum of $301,900 $335,447, or so
much thereof as may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of
business on June 30, 2009, from appropriations heretofore made for such purpose
in Article 20, Sections 20 and 25 of Public Act 95-731, is reappropriated from
the Illinois Historic Sites Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency for awards
and grants for historic preservation programs made either independently or in
cooperation with the Federal Government or any agency thereof, any municipal
corporation, or political subdivision of the State, or with any public or
private corporation, organization, or individual.
ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DIVISION
(P.A. 96-0046, Art. 21a, Sec. 25)
Sec. 25. The sum of $270,000 $300,000,
or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois
Historic Sites Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency for the ordinary and
contingent expenses of the Administrative Services division for costs
associated with but not limited to Union Station, the Old State Capitol and the
Old Journal Register Building.

Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.”.
