| AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1381

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1381 on page 19, by |

| replacing lines 17 through 21 with the following: |

| "the influence of cannabis."; and
|
| 5 |
| on page 30, line 15, by inserting ": (i)" after "shall"; and
|
| 6 |
| on page 30, line 17, by inserting after "patients" the |
| 7 |
| following: |
| 8 |
| "and (ii) recommend a policy to the General Assembly relating |
| 9 |
| to driving under the influence laws as they apply to registered |
| 10 |
| patients, including whether the presence of metabolites or |
| 11 |
| other components of cannabis should create a presumption of |
| 12 |
| driving under the influence, and, if so, what thresholds should |
| 13 |
| be established".
