| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1579, AS AMENDED, |

| in Section 40, subsec. (a), item (3), by replacing "forgery, |

| embezzlement, obtaining money under false pretenses, larceny, |
| 5 |
| extortion, conspiracy to defraud, or any other similar offense, |
| 6 |
| or a felony involving moral turpitude, in any court of |
| 7 |
| competent jurisdiction in this State or any other state, |
| 8 |
| district, or territory of the United States or of a foreign |
| 9 |
| country, unless the Board waives this qualification after |
| 10 |
| taking into account the nature of the applicant's conduct, any |
| 11 |
| aggravating or extenuating circumstances, the time elapsed |
| 12 |
| since the conviction, the rehabilitation or restitution |
| 13 |
| performed by the applicant, and any other factors that the |
| 14 |
| Board deems relevant." with "a felony.".
