AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1601

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1601 on page 34, by

replacing lines 6 and 7 with "private investment; including any 
4
direct or indirect costs relating to Green Globes or LEED 
5
certified construction elements or construction elements with 
6
an equivalent certification;"; and

on page 34, by replacing lines 9 and 10 with "improvements, 
8
including any direct or indirect costs relating to Green Globes 
9
or LEED certified construction elements or construction 
10
elements with an equivalent certification, except"; and
 
11
on page 54, immediately below line 6, by inserting the 
12
following:

    "(y)  "Green Globes certified" means any certification 
14
level of construction elements by a qualified Green Globes 
15
Professional as determined by the Green Building Initiative.";
