| AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1796

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1796 on page 2, by |

| replacing lines 11 through 13 with the following:

| "and parenting courses. A re-enrolled student who successfully |
| 5 |
| completes the requirements for his or her high school |
| 6 |
| graduation shall receive a diploma identifying the student as |
| 7 |
| graduating from the local high school within the school |
| 8 |
| district where the student lives. The requirements for |
| 9 |
| graduation shall be outlined according to the agreement that |
| 10 |
| the school district has developed as part of the IHOPE Plan |
| 11 |
| under subsection (c) of this Section with the regional office |
| 12 |
| of education.".
