AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1927




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1927, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 
41, on page 26, by replacing lines 19 through 21 with the 
5following:
6"supply requirements of the utility as of 2008 and the quantity 
7of SNG supplied to a utility may not exceed 16 million MMBtus; 
8and (iv) the contract costs pursuant to subsection"; and


 
9on page 29, by replacing lines 7 through 15 with the following:
10        (4) allocate the nameplate capacity of the clean coal 
11    SNG facility located in Jefferson County by total therms 
12    sold to ultimate customers by each gas utility in 2008; 
13    provided, however, no utility shall be required to purchase 
14    more than 42% of the projected annual output of the 
15    facility. Additionally, the Illinois Power Agency shall 
16    further adjust the allocation only as required to take into 
17    account (A) adverse consolidation, derivative, or lease

1    impacts to the balance sheet or income statement of any gas 
2    utility or (B) the physical capacity of the gas utility to 
3    accept SNG."; and
 
4on page 86, line 21, by replacing "Commission" with "Illinois 
5Commerce Commission".
