| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2196 by replacing |

| everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| "Section 5. The Unified Code of Corrections is amended by |

| adding Section 3-2-2.5 as follows:

| (730 ILCS 5/3-2-2.5 new) |

| Sec. 3-2-2.5. Time clock. The Department shall require each |
| 8 |
| of its State employees, as defined in Section 1-5 of the State |
| 9 |
| Officials and Employees Ethics Act, to use a time clock that |
| 10 |
| enables that employee to comply with the work time |
| 11 |
| documentation policies required by subsection (c) of Section |
| 12 |
| 5-5 of the State Officials and Employees Ethics Act.".
