| AN ACT concerning employment.
|
| 2 |
| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Child Labor Law is amended by changing |
| 5 |
| Section 4 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (820 ILCS 205/4) (from Ch. 48, par. 31.4)
|
| 7 |
| Sec. 4.
No minor under sixteen (16) years of age shall be |
| 8 |
| employed, or
permitted to work in any gainful occupations |
| 9 |
| mentioned in Section 1 of this
Act for more than five (5) hours |
| 10 |
| continuously without an interval of at
least thirty (30) |
| 11 |
| minutes for meal period, and
and no period of less than
thirty |
| 12 |
| (30) minutes shall be deemed to interrupt a continuous period |
| 13 |
| of
work. |
