| AN ACT concerning local government.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Heart of Illinois Regional Port District Act |
| 5 |
| is amended by changing Section 10 as follows:
|

| 7 |
| Sec. 10. Heart of Illinois Regional Port District created. |
| 8 |
| There is
created
a political subdivision, body politic, and
and |
| 9 |
| municipal corporation by the name of
the Heart
of Illinois |
| 10 |
| Regional Port District embracing
all the area within the |
| 11 |
| corporate limits of
Peoria, Fulton, Tazewell, Woodford, and |
| 12 |
| Marshall Counties and embracing
the
corporate limits of Mason |
| 13 |
| County except for Havana Township. Territory may be
annexed to |
| 14 |
| the district in the manner provided in this Act. The district |
| 15 |
| may
sue and be
sued in its corporate name but execution shall |
| 16 |
| not in any case issue against
any
property of the district. It |
| 17 |
| may adopt a common seal and change the same at its
pleasure. |
