AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3118

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3118, AS AMENDED, 
3
by inserting below the last line, the following:

    "(n) Any employee of the Authority subject to investigation 
5
or inquiry by the Toll Highway Inspector General or any agent 
6
or representative of the Toll Highway Inspector General 
7
concerning misconduct that is criminal in nature shall have the 
8
right to be notified of the right to remain silent during the 
9
investigation or inquiry and the right to be represented in the 
10
investigation or inquiry by an attorney or a representative of 
11
a labor organization that is the exclusive collective 
12
bargaining representative of employees of the Authority. Any 
13
investigation or inquiry by the Toll Highway Inspector General 
14
or any agent or representative of the Toll Highway Inspector 
15
General must be conducted with an awareness of the provisions 
16
of a collective bargaining agreement that applies to the 
17
employees of the Authority and with an awareness of the rights 
18
of the employees as set forth in State and federal law and

applicable judicial decisions. Any recommendations for 
2
discipline or any action taken against any employee by the Toll 
3
Highway Inspector General or any representative or agent of the 
4
Toll Highway Inspector General must comply with the provisions 
5
of the collective bargaining agreement that applies to the 
6
employee.".
