| AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3295

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3295 on page 20, |
| 3 |
| line 22, by inserting "as required by law or" after "only"; and
|

| on page 24, by replacing lines 8 through 11 with the following: |
| 5 |
| "(a) The Department of State Police shall retain records |
| 6 |
| sealed under
subsection (c) or (e) of Section 5.2 or impounded |
| 7 |
| under subparagraph (B) of paragraph (9) of subsection (d) of |
| 8 |
| Section 5.2 and shall release them only as authorized by this |
| 9 |
| Act. Felony records sealed under subsection (c) or (e) of |
| 10 |
| Section 5.2 or impounded under subparagraph (B) of paragraph |
| 11 |
| (9) of subsection (d) of Section 5.2
shall be used"; and

| on page 24, line 22, by inserting "or impounded" after |

| "sealed"; and
