| AN ACT concerning transportation.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Railroad Police Act is amended by adding |
| 5 |
| Section 5 as follows:
|

| (610 ILCS 80/5 new) |

| Sec. 5. Stolen or missing firearms, explosives, or other |
| 8 |
| weapons. Whenever a shipment of firearms, explosives or other |
| 9 |
| weapons is reported as stolen or missing to the railroad police |
| 10 |
| force, the railroad police force shall report all information |
| 11 |
| regarding the incident to local law enforcement, including, but |
| 12 |
| not limited to, the municipal police, the County Sheriff, and |
| 13 |
| the Department of State Police.
