625 ILCS 5/15-315.5 new










    Amends the Permits Article of the Size, Weight, Load and Permits Chapter of the Illinois Vehicle Code by providing that a  municipality, township, county, or other unit of local government may not impose a fee for a permit in excess of the fees provided for in that Article.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended  by adding

Section 15-315.5 as follows:

    (625 ILCS 5/15-315.5  new)

    Sec. 15-315.5. Fee limits. A municipality, township, 
8
county, or other unit of local government may not impose a fee 
9
for a permit in excess of the fees provided for in this Article
