| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Harry J. Lesniak of Burbank, who passed |
| 4 |
| away on January 2, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born on October 9, 1919 in Oglesby; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, He owned and operated Midwest Hardware at 79th and |
| 7 |
| Narragansett Streets in Burbank; he had a strong work ethic and |
| 8 |
| a sincere devotion to his family; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, He enjoyed golf, family outings, watching |
| 10 |
| football games on Sunday afternoons, and cards; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Harry Lesniak is survived by his wife of 61 years, |
| 13 |
| Grace (Maes); his sons, Tom (Gretakay) and Dan (Chris); his |
| 14 |
| daughters, Peggy (Stephen) and Cindy (Tim); his |
| 15 |
| daughter-in-law, Marge; fourteen grandchildren; and two |
| 16 |
| great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 19 |
| his family and friends, the passing of Harry Lesniak; and be it |
